Boltright / How it works

How Boltright bolt kits work

A rebuild goes wrong when you cannot tell one bolt from another. Boltright puts every fastener in its own labelled bag, so you never have to guess.

1. Every bag has a number

A bag number looks like A1SUS034. The letters show the section of the car, such as SUS for suspension, and the digits are the bag in that section. Each bag is one job, and its label says what is inside.

2. Put them in order once

Bags run in numerical order. Sort them once when the kit arrives and you can find any bag in seconds for the rest of the build.

3. Look up what you need

When you reach a bolt, open the parts lookup, pick your car, and search for what you are fitting, like "hood hinge" or "M8 nut". It gives you the bag number. Grab the bag and get on with the job.

4. Buy the whole car or one section

The S30 Big Bolt Kit covers the whole car. The Small Bolt Kits cover one section each.

Questions

Which cars is it for?

The first kits are for the Datsun S30: the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z. Other cars are planned. The lists are built from one measured 1977 260Z 2+2, right-hand drive, delivered new in Australia, so other years and markets can differ.

Is the kit complete?

Not yet. The transmission and its associated fasteners are not included. Interior coverage is limited to the fasteners beneath the dashboard; a small number of additional interior fasteners are supplied as complimentary extras. Certain key suspension bolts without a marked strength grade, mainly in the front suspension, are also not included.

How do I find which bag I need?

Why are the bags numbered?

Where do the kits ship from?

Orders are packed and shipped from Japan by DHL. Processing usually takes up to a week before they ship. Shipping is worked out at checkout. Customs duties, taxes and fees in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.

Can I buy just one section?

Yes. Small Bolt Kits cover a single section, such as the engine bay, body, engine, suspension or underbody.
